Frida Fredrikke Waaler Wærvågen, a freelance cellist based in Oslo, Norway, is much sought-after both as a soloist and chamber musician.
Since 2007 she has been a section leader in the string orchestra Ensemble Allegria.
Her engagements this year include performing at the Bergen International Festival and Risør Festival of Chamber Music, playing the Dvorak and Elgar cello concertos with various orchestras and substituting as solo cellist in the Kristiansand Symphony orchestra.
Her debut CD as soloist in Haydn C-major cello concerto with Ensemble Allegria is due to be released August 2015 on the LAWO label.
